Option 1 (Half day): Bat Trang village

Pick up at hotel and transfer to the riverside village of Bat Trang village, where distinctive ceramics are made and used throughout the delta region for over 500 years. The vitality of this village is still blown up by the hundreds of pottery kilns on fire day and night. We stroll around various cottage industries and watch craftsmen forming, painting and glazing their products in traditional ways. The trip ends after arrival in Hanoi.

Option 2 (6 hours): Van Phuc village

Pick up at hotel and transfer to the silk village of Van Phuc. This is a great place to silk cloth being produced on the loom .There is a showroom where you can buy silk by the meter, much more exciting that buying it in the shops! Continue to visit Tram pagoda & Tram Gian pagodas.

Day 1: Noi Bai Arrival

Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, our tour guide will pick you up and transfer to Hanoi center. Check in hotel and then free time at your leisure.

Day 2: Hanoi City tour (B, L)

Afternoon transfer to vsit the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. After that, visit War Remnant Museum, where you can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting about the second Indochina war. Before lunch we stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post office to get our good shots for our memory of the biggest city in Vietnam.

Day 10: Saigon – Mekong (B, L)

06.30 Pick up at your hotel and transfer to Mekong delta. Have a motorized boat ride to see round Cai Be Floating market where local people gather to sell, buy, and exchange goods from their boats. Walk around to see orchard, rice paper making, and rice crispier producing process. Stop for a rest, a free Vietnamese lunch including tropical fruits.

Boat cruises through a village to see peaceful tranquil life of villagers, admired marvelous natural setting of Mekong Delta region.

Day 1: Noi Bai Arrival – Pick up (D)

Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. Meeting with your guide and transfer to the hotel. Free time on your own activities.

Wecome dinner before taking the night train to Sapa. Overnight on train (soft sleeper A/C cabin of 4 people).

Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa (B, L)

Picked up at Lao Cai Railway Station by car for Bac Ha market. The beginning of the day on which you visit a big market filled with many different hill-tribe peoples. This is the most colorful market in North Vietnam. At the market, you have chance to enjoy Bac Ha people’s simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plumps, apples, peaches… talking to the minorities through the guide’s interpretation.

Leave the market for the H’Mong King’s house (King Hoang A Tuong) built by the French colonists and the Chinese in 1920.

Return the town for lunch. In the afternoon, spend time visiting another village (Ban Pho village) Say good bye to Bac Ha and get back to Sapa. On the way back, drop in to see the Vietnamese and Chinese Harbor Mouth in Lao Cai. Reach Sapa late in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa  – Su Pan – Ban Ho (B, L)

Breakfast at your hotel. Morning transfer by car to Su Pan village then trekking to Ban Ho village to visit the Tay ethnic people who have houses on stilts. Lunch at a local family.

Back to Sapa in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa  – Coc Ly – Lao Cai (B, L)

Leave from Sapa early at 07.00 am for Coc Ly market which is situated far from Sapa. Enjoy the peaceful life of 6 different minority peoples (Flower H’Mong, Black Dzao, Tay, Dzay, Ha Nhi and Nung). The market is the chance for the minorities to meet and share joy and sorrows after the crops, to exchange one another’s experience.

Say goodbye to the market and get down onto a boat along Chay River. You are bound to feel great and find yourselves smaller among high rock mountains and to be surprised at white and breathtakingly waterfalls. The Fairy Cave is located deeply in the rocks. Get off the boat to visit a village of the Tay Minority (Trung Do village) by the river. After the boat trip, visit a small town – Bao Nhai and then take jeep back to Lao Cai Station for the night train to Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi – City tour half day (B, D)

Pick up at railway station and transfer back to your hotel for check in.

Back to the cruise, take shower and relax on upper deck bar before joining a specially prepared seafood buffet in a romantic atmosphere.

Day 7: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)

Wake up in the morning, cakes, fruits, tea and coffee will be served. Continue the cruise through Halong bay. Spend your time on capturing beautiful photo shoots of the bay.

Enjoy the lunch after you pack your things and leave the cabin. The cruise sails back to the harbor.

At noon, disembark and take a van back to Hanoi.

Day 8: Hanoi – Kenh Ga – Phat Diem (B, L)

08.00 Pick up and transfer to Ninh Binh (91km). Upon arrival, visit Kenh Ga Hotspring with its limestone mountains. Take a boat trip on the Hoang Long River as it winds through verdant rice fields and Karsts Limestone Mountain to see Kenh Ga floating village.

After lunch, visit Phat Diem Cathedral, is the Center of Catholicism in North Vietnam and also an attractive tourist site. Explore numerous stone sculptures which are on the inside and outside walls with a large bell cast nearly 2 tons, four roof and 6 sets of iron wooden pillars and then return to Hanoi.

Day 9: Hanoi – Duong Lam ancient village – Hue (B, L)

Pick up at 08.00 am and travel west of Hanoi to Duong Lam village, a purely agricultural village of the Northern Red River delta where still preserve many hundred-year-old houses.

Upon arrival, visit Mong Phu communal house in Mong Phu hamlet – the only hamlet whose original village entrance gate remains intact, dedicated to national heroes. Continue going around the village to discover the daily life and farming working of Vietnamese peasants along the terrace with a stop in two ancient houses: the biggest ancient house was build 200 years ago and the most ancient house back to 400 years ago.

Afternoon visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple, places dedicated to two national heroes Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung. Other stop is Mia Pagoda (other hamlet in Duong Lam village), is built in 15th century and admire 287 statues of all sizes, along with are famous sculpture such as the statue of Buddha in the Himalayas and the statues of the Eight Viagra Deities.

Drive back to Hanoi and drop you off at the station for the night train to Hue. Overnight on train. (A flight can be arranged in the morning next day).

Day 10: Hue (B, L)

Morning arrival in Hue, pick up and transfer to your hotel in Hue.

After that, tour guide will tale you on a boat trip to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Tu Duc and King’s tombs (Khai Dinh).

Visit Imperial Citadel in the afternoon. The tour ends by shopping at Dong Ba Market. Free time for your own diner.

Day 11: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An (B)

Transfer to Hoi An via Da Nang.

Day 13: Hoi An – Tra Que vegetable village (B, L)

Tra Que – a little charming village lies on the edge of Hoi An, It is named after the sweetly scented vegetable. These vegetables not only make the Pho Hoi’s meals more sweet with different flavor but also make Hoi An’ specialties such as Cao Lau, Quang Noodle more memorable.

If you come here to the village , you can also enjoy the cooking class conducted by the host with local “Tam Huu” spring roll which is primarily made from Tra Que vegetables or pancake with meat (Banh xeo) which is made with the enlivenment.

Experience one day living and working with the local people at the Tra Que vegetable village where you will have a chance to discover the daily life of farmers.

Morning to visit the ancient Cham ruins of My Son. Once there, visit the Tra Kieu capital which was the former administration center of Champa Kingdom. Discover the majestic ancient ruins at My Son including ancient towers which were built from the fourth century.
Continue drive to Da Nang for your flight back home. End of services.

Day 1: Noi Bai Arrival – Pick up (D)
Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. Meeting with your guide and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi City tour – Sapa (B, L) (Night train)
Your tour starts with a visit to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, One pillar pagoda and Visit Ethnology Museum. After lunch, visit Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first college -Quoc Tu Giam then roaming around Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old quarter with a cyclo ride.
20.00 Transfer to Train Station for night train to Sapa. Overnight on the train (solf sleeper A/C cabin).
Day 3: Sapa – Cat Cat (B)
Early arrive in Lao Cai (5h30), pick up and transfer to Sapa. Free for visiting ethnic market in Sapa town.
Afternoon trekking to visit Cat cat village, H’mong people and Cat Cat waterfall lying in a small valley. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.
Day 4: Lao Chai – Ta Van – Hanoi (B, L) (Night train)
All day trekking to visit some minority villages. Lao Chai – Ta Van.You will meet some different minority people H’mong, Day, Red Dao, you can see the different colorful dresses.
17.00 transfer to Lao Cai train station for night train to Hanoi. Overnight on train (solf sleeper A/C cabin).
Day 5: Hanoi – Halong – Hanoi (B, L, D)
05.00 Arrive to Hanoi Train Station. Pick up and transfer to the hotel.
08.00 Depart to Halong bay. Arrive in Halong bay around 12:00.
Begin your cruise in Halong bay where seafood lunch is served on the boat. Go on admiring the amazing kasts with different formations on the way to the cave. Visit to the Halong bay’s largest cave of Sung Sot cave (Amazing cave).
Next stop is Ti Top island where you can spend the time climbing up to the top of island for a panoramic view of the bay or go down for swimming at the sandy beach.
Back to the cruise, free for swimming, sunbathing … Relax on the sundeck and enjoy free fruit and drink served by the crew. Join a cooking demonstration to learn how to prepare some traditional Vietnamese dishes with our professional chefs then sit down for dinner.
After dinner, free time at your leisure: relaxing, enjoying music or fishing for squid and fish on the bay (equipment provided) then retiring to the comfort of your cabin.
Day 6: Halong Bay – Cat Ba Island – Lan Ha Bay (B, L, D)
Have breakfast on boat while cruising toward Cat Ba island. Stop at Van Gia village along the way to transfer to the day boat and cruise toward to Viet Hai Wharf belonging to Cat Ba National Park. Taking a 5km ride to Viet Hai village to explore the lifestyle of local residents.
Back to the boat then enjoy a kayaking trip to explore Tai Keo Lagoon and some sandy beaches. Have lunch while cruising to Beo Wharf. Disembark and check in your hotel in Cat Ba island. Free to explore Cat Ba town for your own activities.

Day 7: Cat Ba Island – Halong Bay – Hanoi – Hue (B, L)
After breakfast, transfer to Beo Wharf. Get on the day trip boat and cruise along Lan Ha bay then transfer to our awaiting cruise on the bay.
Cruise stops over for swimming, snorkeling (equipment provided) and taking photos before cruising back to the harbor. On the way, witness the beauties of Dinh Huong island (incense burner), Cho Da island (stone dog), and Ga Choi island (fighting cocks).
Disembark and take a bus to Halong city for lunch. Return to Hanoi with short break on the way. Arrive in Hanoi around 5:00 pm.
Evening take the night train to Hue (19.00 or 23.00). Overnight on train.
Day 8: Hue (B, L)
Pick up then transfer to your hotel in Hue. Boat trip to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Tu Duc and King’s tombs (Khai Dinh) in the same morning.
Visit Imperial Citadel in the afternoon. The tour ends by shopping at Dong Ba Market. Free time for your own diner.

Day 9: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An (B)
Transfer to Da Nang . Spend time in Lang Co beach en-route, taking photograph from Hai Van Pass (The pass of Sea and Cloud). Cham Museum in Da Nang.

Day 10: Hoi An – Walking tour (B)
After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour to visit Hoi An ancient town with Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien Temple, Tan Ky Ancient House, Phung Hung house and cultural show rooms in Hoi An.
After your walking tour, if you have free time ,you can do shopping at the old town. Guide will take you back to the hotel. Free time at on your own activities.

Day 11: Hoi An – Da Nang – Nha Trang (B)

11.30 Leaving for Mot island. Have lunch with many excellent dishes, enjoying the floating bar with big fun.
14.00 Getting to Tam island and take a rest at Tam Resort. Free time to enjoy some water sports.
15.45 Back to Tri Nguyen Aquarium. Visiting aquarium and seeing sea biology inside Neptune’s place with hundred of fishes.

Day 13: Nha Trang – Saigon (B)
Free time to discover Nha Trang.

Day 14: Saigon – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi (B, L)
Full day visit to two famous destinations in the southern including Tay Ninh and Cu Chi. Leave Ho Chi Minh city, we visit the head quarter of Cao Dai sect in Tay Ninh. This religion was founded in 1923 and now numbers over 2 million members. On arrival we see the ornate temple and attend the fantastic mid-day service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism.
Cu Chi tunnels, an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Vietcong in the American war.

Day 15: Saigon – City tour (B, L)
Pick up at 08:30 and depart for the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. After that, visit War Remnant Museum, where you can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting about the second Indochina war. Before lunch we stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post office to get our good shots for our memory of the biggest city in Vietnam.
Afternoon visit: Ben Thanh market, Cho Lon, Chinese town and market. Here you can experience our Vietnamese Southern daily life. We will be back our hotel after visiting Giac Lam pagoda, one of the oldest and finest pagodas in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 16: Saigon – Mekong (B, L)
08.00 Pick up at your hotel in HCMC. Depart for My Tho. Take the boat ride through the Bao Dinh natural canal; view the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the river sides. Visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market. Proceed to the Tortoise island. Lunch served in the heart of the orchard. Enjoy the nice boat ride through the Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruise under the shadow of the water coconut trees. Visit the family where you can experience the agricultural lifestyle. Trekking through the fruit plantation in Thoi Son island, enjoy the rowing boat ride along the creeks before returning to My Tho by motorized boat. Proceed to Can Tho. Dinner on guests ‘account.

07.00 After breakfast, take the morning boat trip to visit the Phong Dien floating market with the busy scene right at the time. Itinerary

Day 1: Heading to Floating houses and fish farms (L, D)

07.30 – 08.00 am: Optional pickup service by shuttle bus

12.30 – 12.45 pm: On arrival at the pier of Tuan Chau Island, you will meet the Aphrodite team and crew, and you will be privately driven by our tender boat to our well-designed and well-equipped Aphrodite Junk. A welcome drink is waiting for you on the third deck, in our charming panoramic restaurant. You will be given a short speech introducing the vessel’s facilities and services, as well as safety instructions. After the check in, take time for yourself. Enjoy the view while the cruise heads straight to the South, and makes its way along Cat Ba National Park, away from other tourist Junks.

13.15 pm : Lunch will be at the panoramic restaurant on the third deck.

15.45 pm: The cruise will reach the village of Cua Van. Get an insight of the local life, strolling aboard a sampan boat, around a typical Halong bay fishing village. Cua Van is a stand out example of community-based and sustainable tourism in Halong bay. The excursion includes a visit to the school, to a fish farm and to the local fishing museum.
There is an option of 1 hour kayaking around Cua Van Fishing village instead of the sampan stroll.

16.45 pm: Back onboard the Aphrodite vessel, you will have time to relax, enjoy the spa and massage service and/or the Happy Hour at the bar. The cruise will now head to the moorage area, near Coconut Beach Island.

19.15 pm: A scrumptious dinner will be served in the Fine Dining room. The main courses will be prepared before your eyes. You are also given the possibility to have dinner served on your private balcony.

20.45 pm till late: Squid fishing, Board games, and stories, tales and legends at the Top Deck Bar.

Day 2: Heading to the far reaches of Halong bay (B, L, D)

06.30 am: Begin the day mastering energy flows during a Tai Chi session, while the sun rises.

07.00 am: Breakfast buffet will be served at the restaurant.

08.00 am: You will be transferred to a day-boat, soon heading to Dau Be point which is at the furthest side of Halong bay. Dau Be point is famous for its tunnels, lagoons, crystal waters and secluded beaches. The highlight of this day will be kayaking through spectacular tunnels to reach secret lagoon (if tides permit).

09.30 am: First kayak stroll of the day. Follow your tour guide in the maze of karts rocks.

11.30 am: Fresh sea food and traditional Vietnamese cuisine will be served aboard the Junk. She will be anchored close to a beautiful beach. You will have time to swim and enjoy the beach after lunch.

13.30 pm: Relax on beach and practice more kayaking. You will also have the opportunity to visit a temple and a floating fish farm.

17.00 pm: Back on the Aphrodite Junk for optional spa and massage services, happy hour, scrumptious dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Heading to the beginning of times (B, L)
